I know the Jamati Officers have a lot to get through but the recital of the whole Ginan makes little impact on someone who has to sit through with no cultural, linguistic or historical background to our 'Wonderful Tradition' - I quote Imam's words, and attendance to JK suffers on account of this. The author's notes on Ginans, quoting other scholars, is a gift to us all if we are genuinely interested in what they too, have to say. I am so pleased to have made at least a superficial contact with Mr Pyarali Jiwa and need to join his Membership list.
