What a wealth of information. Well written and well researched for the general reader and the Scholar interested in the Ismaili Imams, in particular the 48th Imam, Mawlana Sultan Muhammad Shah and the community. His untiring efforts at economic and social development are well recorded and there for all to see.

Indeed, an impressive and well written article, except for one comment that the use of a "decadent" community in the time of Imam Sultan Mohamed Shah, is an incorrect and unfair description of Ismaili community then. I would rather appropriately and fairly describe it as "economically, socially and educationally marginalized". Far from being decadent, the community then was cohesively strong in its social, cultural and religious traditions.

The articles on your website provide a lot of information about the Ismailis and the concept of Imamat in Shia Islam and the Shia Imami Ismaili Tariqah. The presence of a Living Guide for generations, with our present Imam being the 49th Imam, has resulted in our credibility as an important community in the world, not just of Islam, but the whole world today.

Your series shows the role of Sir Sultan Muhammad Shah and His contribution to this. I was fortunate enough to have lived at least part of my formative years of my life through this era. Many many thanks to you and your most illustrious website.
