Aga Khan Graces 10th Annual LaFontaine-Baldwin Symposium

His Highness the Aga Khan delivered a major speech on Pluralism at the 10th annual LaFontaine-Baldwin Symposium held in Toronto on Friday, October 15, 2010. In the snapshots shown above, he is seen delivering his address to a packed audience. When the lecture concluded the Ismaili Imam was given a standing ovation, which he is seen acknowledging in a gesture of humility. The symposium was organized by the Institute of Canadian Citizenship whose Co-Chairs are The Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson and John Ralston Saul, seen in the centre photo in the left column. They both gave preliminary remarks before the Aga Khan’s lecture. Upon the conclusion of the Aga Khan’s lecture, Mr. Saul engaged His Highness the Aga Khan in a highly interesting discussion which covered a broad range of issues and topics (centre row, right column)
