Historical Photographs: Aspects of Life in the Ismaili Community is intended to become a resource for rare and unique non-copyright photographs received by this web site from individuals and private collections and archives. Historical Photographs will be chronicled back to the late 19th century and will include the following topics: Portraits of Ismaili Imams, Individuals or Group Photos with Ismaili Imams, Ismaili Monuments and  Heritage Sites,  and Social Life and Customs of the Ismailis. From time to time selected copyright photographs from other institutions such as museums, newspapers, photographic studios and libraries will be published with the appropriate permissions. Please send quality images from your collection to simerg@aol.com, preferably with a caption and description. Photographs which are published on this web site will always include a proper credit.
