The family of Ajmal Andani (1949 – 2021) originally of Tanzania (known as Tanganyika until 1964) has shared Ajmal’s collection of the Tanganyika Standard newspapers that carried reports of the celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of the late Aga Khan in 1946, his death in 1957 after a reign of 71 years, and the succession of his grandson, the current Aga Khan, as the 49th Ismaili Imam.
