We invite readers to explore our sister website, Barakah, for special coverage of the Aga Khan’s historic seven-day visit to India. He arrived in New Delhi on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. During his trip, he will meet with government leaders and bestow a Didar (meaning “a glimpse”) upon his Ismaili community– a profoundly inspiring and spiritually uplifting event deeply cherished by every Ismaili to see their beloved Imam in their midst and receive guidance for their material and spiritual well-being. His visit follows earlier trips to France, Kenya, Uganda, the USA, Portugal, the UK, Eastern Canada, Northern Pakistan, Germany and Western Canada (click the links for Barakah’s special coverage of the 10 trips).
